We can’t heal unless we’re really true with selves. Only then can we be honest with others. Not giving bits we want them to see, but all the bits – good, bad, ugly.
We can believe we’re a certain way to present it to world, but we’re experiencing feelings of negativity, doubts, dissatisfaction or not being good enough.
We want to present our best side, but eventually it wears us down. Loved ones always embrace good, bad and ugly bits of us. We do exactly the same for them.
Try to pick one trait we’re not honest about. Allow it’s exposure and talk about it. We may be surprised. Our honesty may inspire others to reveal their authentic selves.
Sometimes, we mix feelings of being scared and excited. Anything worth doing has fear attached to it. If everything was easy, there would be no learning. We’re scared to open our hearts, be sensitive.
A playful, child-like good laugh is all it takes to reveal our true colours – be who we are.
