Email: Dad says he knows what’s best for my future? (US)
It’s only our own intuitive voice that knows what’s best for us. Instincts never lie. Parents can have strong views about what’s good or bad for our future. Their well-meaning yet generalised opinion is likely a repeat cycle of what they were taught or experienced. With emotions in the mix, taking actions based on our own instincts becomes quite difficult. At worst, we can simply stagnate or freeze, trying to live according to others expectations. Indecision happens.
During challenging circumstances, trusting our own instincts is the best way forward. The more we trust our intuition, the more empowered we become. Stepping forward honestly & authentically isn’t easy, but it can make us truly happy. Our personal power is precious. Trusting in what feels right, seizing the opportunities & having the courage to pursue our own dreams, aspirations, passions & goals is what gives meaning & purpose to our life.
