Make up is an art, an expression, a passion for women.
Sadly, despite numerous youtube tutorials, live demos in stores, countless articles on beauty tips for ‘make-up’, I admit complete failure. How can I be so unbelievably dumb?
Once before the mirror, face appears as a blank canvas, awaiting a creative splash of chemicals and colours. Begin calmly with moisturisers, rose blush, charcoal eye liners for smokey hot eyes, lashes curled up with volume mascaras. Serious manipulation of hair and glamorous lip colours for plump, sexy, luscious lips.
Finally, an unrecognisable, brand new me. Go easily overboard, too much of a good thing! Desperately try to either tone it down or wipe off efforts, start with a clean slate.
Leave home beautifully, artificially contoured, painted and polished. Before reaching the event, simply and flawlessly back to my natural self, each time.
Someone said, smile is the best make-up to wear…! Guess, that will do…
