Humility…

Email: How do we practice humility in daily lives? (AUS)

We respect those rare individuals who humbly bear life’s struggles, while downplaying their own strength’s. Yet, humility is equated with insecurities compelling such people to judge themselves unfavourably. Such people accept, love, give, forgive humbly.

Humility is not passivity. Though they take respect and pride in their accomplishments, they believe people they interact with are valuable, have as much to offer the world.

To be humble is to accept there will always be people more or less advanced than us, those on all spectrums of development can still provide key insights for our evolution.

It’s truly opening self to see, feel and think differently or from other’s perspectives. We may have greater wisdom in some areas, but others will always teach us something we just didn’t know or believe we were capable of.
When we cultivate genuine curiosity to know talents others have been blessed with, we can’t help but learn humility. No envy, fear or resistance but desire to grow, expand self.
Flexibility, compassion in interactions helps us connect with unexpected surprises. With humility we want to be as expansive, evolved as we can possibly be. Challenge self.
Humility is a form of empathy, love and balance. We celebrate our own value and worth while sincerely believing each person is just as precious and beautiful, as we are.
