Email: Suffered childhood trauma. How can I heal? (Spain)

Sorry to hear. Can empathise with you. We have the ability to heal from childhood pain. Events from childhood are our first experiences of life. Impacts our development as we take first steps on our personal path and purpose.

Some childhood wounds lay dormant until we’re adults, when our closest relationships help bring out deepest aspects of self. This is when unexamined lessons are recognised and untended childhood scars bubble up – an innocent call for healing, reconciliation.

We may discover issues of trust, self-worth, intimacy, self-expression, validation or mirror actions or experiences from our past, instinctively. It limits our creativity.
We have inner strength within us to heal and grow. With the intuitive knowing of an adult, we can become the loving parent or guardian we needed as a child. With self-love and belief in our terrific abilities, we re-discover our vitality and wholeness.

Recreate unpleasant emotional scenarios in our mind’s eye only to try better, different logical outcomes, this time. We can openly and neutrally see events from a clean, unique perspective. Brings clear understanding, balance, judgement and solutions to set free from mental conflict, fears or negativities.

Life offers us opportunities to clear weeds in the garden of our heart and mind, if we can courageously step up to the challenge with faith, resolve and hope. Just believe.

Let’s not deny healing, we leave wounds open to let it drain our positive energy.
We can seek support of professionals or close allies for tools to live our full potential.
The child we were, still lives within us. We have a choice to transform, evolve, imagine, right old wrongs, correct mistaken perceptions, love, forgive, begin anew and afresh.
Let’s write bold, bright, brilliant and beautiful chapters, in our book of life.
