Self-reflections…

Email: Family business, frustrated. Agitated, no time for mindfulness. (US)

Understand. In a story-telling mood. Once upon a time, a simple girl grew up unaware of who she was, clueless of what she wanted in life? Parents wanted good grades, she topped the class. Decided who they believed suited best, married without a question. In a demanding world, easiest thing to loose was her sense of self, identity, desire.

Exceeded expectations of others, didn’t know what she expected of self? Disconcerted, off-balance in darkness. Faced struggles in denial she deserved better in practical life. Didn’t trust innate abilities, aspirations. Low self-awareness, self-worth due to lack of real world exposure. Sought validations, fearful of success. Safe in a cocoon, lived 2 lives. An extravagant external facade. A tiny, treasured inner world.

One day at rock bottom before mirror, realised how great it felt to truly desire stuff she thought unachievable. Inspired to discover self, make a genuine effort with clear intent. How great it felt to simply stand in her truth without fear of failure. Honour, appreciate self value. Feel good enough to put inner strength, intuitive insights, rational skills, inherent individuality through toughest endurance tests, vulnerabilities. Keen to find, re-connect with natural, innocent self.

How great it felt to enthusiastically explore potential, embrace adventure. Curiously, creatively, compassionately express joy, sadness, fears, insecurities, goals. Find passionate purpose without much expectations in return. Freedom has it’s own structure! Liberation from self-sabotaging mental chains, ego’s, judgements. Humbly creates a firm foundation for fulfilment, abundance, playfulness resonating with spirit.

Self-reflection, self-love is a great school for wisdom, wishes, wonderful experiences. What we consciously think in the moment, we become. What we feel, we attract. What we imagine, we create. What we believe, brings energetic alignment of mind, body, spirit.

Recently, met her again. Peacefully, passionately, patiently transforming like a butterfly out of cocoon! Learning to spread her wings, flow in faith with fresh perspectives. Though a long way still to go.

Hope this helps. All the best.
